Who am I? Sander Vlekke born in 1993 at 24 april 1993 in a small town in the neighbourhood of Leiden. I lived in Leiden for three years when my brother was born we moved to Voorschoten. I started with school when I was 4 years old. When i was 12 years old I was going to a school in Wassenaar close to NAS Valkenburg. The formal Naval air base was still open in that time and i couldn't concentrate me on my school work because the orions where flying the whole day. My dad took me almost every sunday to Schiphol a civil airport when I was getting older i went spotting by myself and now I am only spotting military airplanes. The closest Military airbase for me is now Gilze-Rijen AB.
I am now 16 and I am in the fourth grade at school. I am doing Higher General Secundary Education after that I will become a fighter pilot.
My Equipment My carreer started in 2004. I was spotting with a small digital camera a Sony Cybershot P-73 It had 3 times optical zoom and 4.1 Megapixels. The zoom was not so far so I decided to buy a camera with more zoom that camera was the Fujifilm S5600 with 10 times optical zoom. In 2007 I bought my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 300D with Sigma 70-300 lens. The autofocus of the lens was not very fast so I decided to buy a new one from a spotter friend. The lens was the Canon 70-300 F4-5.6 IS USM. I was very happy with it! In 2008 I asked for my birthday a much faster Camera. That camera is the Canon Eos 30D, much faster as the Canon Eos 300D.
